Adventure Society Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Adventure Society’s website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

2. Eligibility & Registration

  • Users must be at least 18 years old.

  • Membership requires an application process involving providing personal and professional details. Acceptance into the Adventure Society community is at our discretion and based upon professional qualifications and a genuine interest in outdoor activities.

3. Membership, Payments, and Fees

  • Membership fees can be billed monthly or annually.

  • Members have a 90-day cancellation window from initial payment. After this period, if the membership is not canceled, members must pay the remaining balance for the year (monthly billing continues).

  • Additional event-specific fees may apply, payable separately.

4. Cancellation and Termination

Members can cancel under the following circumstances:

  • Within the initial 90-day cancellation period.

  • Due to relocation away from NYC, hospitalization, or documented financial hardship. Proof must be submitted in writing.

Adventure Society reserves the right to terminate membership if a member breaches these terms or acts inappropriately towards other members.

5. User Responsibilities and Conduct

All members must behave in a professional, respectful, inclusive, and kind manner. Adventure Society is committed to equal opportunities and diversity. Any discriminatory or abusive behavior will lead to termination of membership.

6. Content Ownership and Usage

Adventure Society retains rights to all content (photos, videos, etc.) created during our events and trips. If members upload content created externally, Adventure Society retains the right to share this content publicly and use it for promotional purposes.

7. Liability and Disclaimer

Adventure Society is not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages sustained during participation in our events. Participation is at your own risk. Members may also be required to sign additional waivers by third-party activity providers or event hosts.

8. Third-party Services

We occasionally use third-party vendors and guides. Adventure Society holds no responsibility for their actions, services, or liabilities.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed according to the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA.

10. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Members will be notified of substantial changes via email or announcements on our website.
