MYC: Corporate Sailing League | (Spring Session) May & June 2025
The Adventure Society is a social club for NYC's physically active business & community leaders. Helping you Thrive in the Wild, by building stronger leaders through mindful movement and meaningful connections. Our trips are organized with a curated group of subject matter experts, thought leaders, and those that are adventurous at heart.
Trip Overview 📌
Set sail with The Adventure Society this May and June as we compete in the Manhattan Yacht Club’s Corporate Sailing League, racing against New York’s top companies in the iconic waters of New York Harbor. Every Thursday evening, join fellow adventurers aboard our dedicated vessel for an unforgettable experience blending teamwork, competition, and breathtaking views of the city skyline.
No prior sailing experience is necessary—just bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a love for being on the water. Each sailor only needs to commit to a minimum of three weeks, making this the perfect opportunity to try something new, forge connections, and embrace the joy of summer evenings outdoors.
Itinerary ⛵
For the Spring Session there will be 7 weeks of regattas. Racing is every Thursday evening and the Manhattan Yacht Club will provide us with a professionally maintained J/24 sailboat. Teams will be on the docks around 6 pm and head out into the harbor by 6:20 pm. Up to 3 races are held each evening.
The Manhattan Yacht Club is located at 140 Dudley St, Jersey City. This location is easy to reach by PATH (exit at Grove St or Exchange Pl) as well as ferries from Brookfield Place, Pier 11 and Midtown (West 39 St).

The Spring Session is over 7 weeks in May & June. If there is interest, we can also participate in the Summer & Fall Sessions.

Crew 🐬
There are 5 spots on the boat each week. To secure a spot, you must commit to at least 3 weeks, but can participate in as many as all 7. Sign up will be on a first come, first served basis. If a week is completely full, you can be placed as a reserve option in case someone drops out.

Total Cost: $195 / person / week
