Join us for an inspiring evening with Francisco Roque de Pinho—entrepreneur, sustainability investor, and accomplished big wave surfer at Nazaré, Portugal. Francisco co-founded The Land Group (TLG), a leading investment firm transforming over 40,000 hectares into regenerative farmland and sustainable energy projects across South America.
Outside of investment, Francisco tackles some of the planet’s biggest waves at Nazaré and co-founded Associação Red Herrings, a team dedicated to ocean conservation and talent development through extreme sports.

Event Overview 📌
Winter surfing? Chills? Nah! Why freeze your toes off battling icy waves when you can ride perfect, toasty barrels indoors? Indoor surfing means no wetsuits, no frostbite—just you, warm water, and endless waves that don’t try to drown you.
➡️ Personal account, we’ve been here before and aside from being inside a giant mall, it is actually super fun. The mall is completely empty at this time, the different sized waves are perfect for learning or perfecting your technique, and the number of waves you are able to catch in 2 hours is like spending 2 weeks in the ocean. If you like to surf or have wanted to try, this is definitely worth giving it a go.
Itinerary 🏄
Dates: February 26, 2025
⏰: 8:00pm to 10:00pm (Arrive no later than 7:30 pm)

📏: This is for beginners & those looking to perfect their technique
🚀: There are only so many spots in the pool, but the waves are continuous, secure your spot early.
Notes:
You must be able to swim, but hey, no sunscreen needed this time!
Showers are available at the venue
We will have snacks/drinks
Bring your own towel & flip-flops
Waivers: Required! You’ll receive them 72 hours before the event
Transportation 🚌
Transportation is included to/from Penn Station. We will specify the exact location 72 hours prior to the event. Plan on departing at 7:00 pm.
Cost 💰
Total Cost: $189 (all inclusive) for a 2-hour session…that is a lot of waves!
Price includes a 2-hour session of surfing, snacks/drinks & transportation
